This is the second time this year that this has happened. I go in to ship my small flat rate box for something that I sell on Ebay, the nice, slow guy taking his time asks if i want delivery conformation, I say yes, but say no to insurance unfortunately. I look at the tracking information a week later and it says accepted at usps facility, and no other scans after that. Since the sign at the post office says 2-3 days delivery for Priority Mail, I go to the post office to see if they can track my package down, or look into what happened after I gave it to the clerk. They have no cares in the world, say that nothing about priority is guaranteed, and give me no customer service or remorse, try to assure me that there is nothing that they can do and that i'm screwed as politely as they can. What the ***, someone please help me, is this why the USPS is in such bad financial shape? I will neverrrrrrr use USPS again ive shipped 81 packages too many this year and two have been lost, im switching to UPS and I hope that you all do as well, if they are going to treat us like this lets bankrupt them! 128bc70

Hold on, there pardner!! Do NOT go to UPS!! The USPS is a government agency, still and now you fully understand why you shouldn't use them---postal workers are on the whole overpaid, lazy and inept. However, UPS is not so hot either. They are comprised of overpaid union thugs. I now recommend FedEx for ANY package. They are polite, hard-working, and efficient. Their cost is at least the same as the other two inept, useless companies and in some cases cheaper. But, FedEx is faster and have a lower damage/lost rate. Go to FedEx. I just mailed a 38 lb. package today to Arizona via FedEx. It will get there in four days. Be assured.
