USPS delivery and tracking is horrible.
I hate the USPS package delivery "services". What makes me even angrier is the fact that Amazon has now contracted with them to ship to their "Amazon Prime" customers almost exclusively.
Last year I ordered a $200 motherboard from Amazon, they shipped it using USPS, the "tracking" information was useless, I was told that it was shipped. The Delivery was disconcerting. I live in a 24 unit apartment building with a locked lobby, the USPS employee who delivered my package didn't ring the bell, he(or she) simply left the package on the floor by the mail boxes, by the time I realized that the package had been delivered(I checked the tracking site and it reported it had been delivered. All the tracking information they provided me was that it had been shipped and it had been delivered, NOTHING else)when I went down to get my package I found that the box had been torn open.
I can only surmise that one of my lovely neighbors saw the Amazon box and thought they'd see if there was anything good in it for them. All it had was my motherboard so they didn't take anything. I hate hate hate USPS for package delivery.
They really need to get their *** together. And yes, their tracking system is a complete joke and needs to be completely revamped.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Right on the label Amazon instructs the carrier to "leave parcel if no response". You also tracked to your residence, so tracking does work. Your expeditions are ridiculous
