USPS package delivery sucks
I made an order in September for 1 simple package that included Halloween costume items. I attempted to follow my order online and it finally went into 'pre delivery' mode oct 18.
When I checked again two days later it was in the same status. I finally called the store and they found out that usps lost my package. So I had to get a new order made. By which time a majority of the things were sold out.
The store took off the charge of shipping (even tho it wasn't their fault) and shipped a new package. I was getting regular email updates. Last night it left out of Honolulu and arrived in pearl city this morning. I got a notification finally around 10 that it was out for delivery.
And my town is practically connected to pearl city. So I sat in the living room so I could hear them knock. I stayed home all morning just for the package. When I had to leave at 1, I checked my mail first and found a notice that claimed I wasn't home when they attempted to deliver even tho they never knocked on my apt door.
My apt number was clearly on the package and the letter. Now I have to either get it redelivered in 2 days or go to town to the post office TOMORROW to get it. just because I wasn't waiting by the mailbox for the 'unsure' time they'd arrive. I'm very angry and if able will make sure to avoid using.
USPS for package deliveries ever again. There's no reason for my to work my busy schedule around ppl who don't want to do their job right.
Reason of review: Problem with delivery.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Also! When I tried to call to figure out why they never came to my door (obviously a giant box isn't gonna fit in the small small available for mail-they've delivered to my door before).
All I could get was a prerecording. And when if press 0 she'd tell me customer service was unavailable until I gave this info. Then I'd press 0 again. Then she'd say customer service we currently unavailable.
So when I just used her she ended the convo telling me no more than the paper left in my box by the lazy employee told me. And finally when I was angry enough to just press 0 repeatedly she hung dropped my call.
