I was convinced when my claim was declined that no one read the claim. Now it seems certain in my opinion.

The following day I received a second letter in the mail from the USPS. This second letter was declining an appeal which I had not yet even sent. The form letters were timed poorly and both dated July 18, 2013. How totally unprofessional.

In my case, I had mailed in a USPS priority box with tracking. The item had been posted as delivered, but it had not been delivered to where I sent it. The building where it should have gone is a security locked location with a guard outside, a guard inside to buzz mail carriers in. There is a log book to enter each item delivered and sign-out sheet for the recipient.

If that isnโ€™t enough, there is also a security camera. The package NEVER entered the building, it was not signed in or signed out and no one carried such a box through the lobby, when the cameras were reviewed. The excuse I was given was there was not enough documentation! Be responsible.

There is another building in that area with a similar address. But this is not my responsibility. The people at that address stated they often get mail intended for my building delivered there. A mistake was made by the USPS so owe up and be responsible.

I owe it to myself to pursue this and intend to, as a wrong was done and handled inappropriately in my opinion. My contents are missing plus I paid for a service I never got! Following the tracking brings the package all the way to Miami, FL.

It was not delivered and that is what I paid for and trusted to happen. The addresses were even messed up on my letters from the USPS to Fords, โ€œFLโ€ 08863 which should be NJ

Monetary Loss: $150.

Location: Miami, Florida

Usps are Bull *** making money of us to tell us what we cannot use to ship our package in. etc.

I hope they go bankrupt. I am going to fedex for now on to ship packages small or big.

I've had issues with UPS in Florida too. I was waiting on a delivery for an expensive item (car audio equipment) to my home, was at home the day of delivery, but the item was never received.

Called UPS as well as the company and now an investigation had to happen. Took 28 days to complete and for the company to resend me out the item, free of charge. The manager who had contacted me, said it was delivered they have proof, the scanner was coded in their machine once delivered and the GPS, shows he stopped at my home. Told me to call the cops and report my neighbors for theft.

Advised her if I was home, and the UPS delivered the item, why, wouldn't he knock on the door and ask me to sign the machine, like they normally do. She claims that I was not home. I told her flat out, I have lived here over 9 years, never had any issues of theft in my area. I was home and that her driver stole the item.

When the UPS came to delivery the 2nd package, he gladly showed me a picture of my home, with my car parked in the driveway and told me how it was delivered on that day. When I told him, that's strange, why would you have a picture of delivery of that day, is that a normal scenario? Also told him, you see, I was home, the date you guys are claiming the item was delivered, so why didn't I sign the machine and how come the item/package is not in this picture and there is no date on the picture.

He just walked away. LOL
