How is it in this day and age can a company be allowed to conduct business in such a piss poor manner. They sell a service that they don't honor and when you complain to them they have an" oh well not my problem" attitude. I have a package coming from Texas to the USVI. It took 1 day to get to Puerto Rico which is about a 2000 mile journey. They assured me it left Puerto Rico 3 days ago and is in transit to St. Thomas which is only 50 miles away". How can this make sense/. Somewhere in the carribean ocean there's a USPS employee swimming towards the Virgin Islands with my package strapped to his back?. This is the only reason I can think of why it's taking so long?. They say priority is 1 to 3 days when you actualy pay for it|. When you complain that it didn't show they say" well theres no guarantee, it can be 5 days or more'. If this is the case why the he'll am I paying extra for priority.. I blame our government fir allowing this behavior!. In short it's fedex from now on. 128c0e3

First off the Post office isn't going anywhere-your just another *** American who believes everything you hear on the news. The Post Office isn't loosing money-they have actually made profit-but you wouldn't know that now would you? Why? because instead of educating yourself on how USPS is run and the laws that govern it you listen to news which the majority of it is false or over dramatisized.

Post Office isn't going anywhere-they will in fact be listening to customers in the next 12 months to find out what they need to do to innovate.

The post office loses money because they are poorly run, lazy and indifferent.

I wish I could get paid to refuse to perform my job. But, oh yeah, I work in the private sector where I would be fired.

Failing to deliver the mail is a crime if you are in the private sector. It should be a crime for Postal Carriers as well.

They are a government agency with typical government employees---no work ethic and no willingness to help and with a secure job at a high wage and no one can fire them. Perfect for delivering the mail chanting the motto "neither rain, nor sleet,....."

Luckily, they are losing money hand over fist and will have to get rid of, thru attrition, thousands of union thugs. This will take years because of the stupidity of management in agreeing to no layoffs. Even tho they are losing billions each year! It is run by real geniuses.

However, if you like the way this government agency works, wait till ObamaCare goes into effect in 2014. You will love it.
