One of our customer's paid $23 for express shipping. The package was delivered a day late.

USPS offers a money back guarantee when they do not hold up their end of the bargain but make it incredibly difficult to request a refund. Refund requests are required to be made in person and a really confusing form must be filled out. At this point I've wasted two hours of my time and my labor cost on recouping this money is the same as the postage itself. At this point it's a wash.

USPS's refund procedure seems purposely obtuse and difficult so that people will get frustrated and give up on holding USPS accountable.

If you can't afford to refund people on express packages that are late,...then stop offering a money back guarantee. Wish I could say any of their competitors were any better but unfortunately there is a captive audience and all the carriers suck.
