Turnaround Time

I shipped out approximately six boxes worth of books, many of which are textbooks and art history books that are not cheap at all, two months ago. Several of the boxes arrived badly damaged, and one of the boxes went missing.

I filed two claims, and they just confirmed they lost it. What is absolutely bizarre is that my tracking number confirmed it was being sent to the "Mail Recovery Center" and yet they didn't know the address because they couldn't read it. Absolutely ridiculous. I decided to go file a claim today, but apparently I may not have recourse for a box with approximately $200-300 worth of books because I didn't insure it and because I didn't file the claim within sixty days (I had a missing mail request).

It's ridiculous and incompetent! I will never use USPS again for shipping boxes, and I will use FedEx or UPS.
