Verified ReviewerElizabeth Post Office has Horrible Customer Service
After calling for 2 days and sending a fax (no one ever answered), I used the "contact us" feature on the website and stated that I called and faxed and that I thought it was inexcusable for a federal employee to not answer the phone. Natalie from the Elizabeth Post Office called me back and stated that she had got my complaint.
Then proceeded to tell me, "to clarify, I don't work for you, we don't operate from tax dollars", she called me a jerk and stated that I was entitled because I didn't understand how busy they are the day after a holiday. I told her that every business (who wants to remain in business) should answer the phone when customers call. She hung up on me.
Wow! send an email, don't buy stamps, go paperless, whatever you can do to NOT use the Post Office.
This is why their reviews are so bad - people like they have at the Elizabeth Post Office. Horrible Customer Service!!

User's recommendation: Don't use the post office anymore. Look at the reviews, they are terrible. Send an email, go paperless, they are funded off of postal sales, so stop spending money here.

U were supposed to deliver package(baby car seat) to front door. Said mailbox was full. That’s not front door. Need to deliver to front door, please

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Discusses with local postmaster.

My complaint is that I got a package shipped to me from waunakee wi and I live in Princeton IL which is on the route to which usps took my ball to DALLAS TX! Why wouldnt it stop in Illinois?
When I called the customer service she didnt understand that at all either, yet it still happens. USPS did file a claim on this issue and said I would be contacted in 2-3 days?? What?? I told the lady it should be here by then, but oh no.
Went to coppell tx back to Dallas and is now 12 and a half hours away from me. And the shipping charges were 10 bucks!
Tell me who can drive from Wisconsin to Texas for 10 bucks? This is absolutely insane!!

Purchased a USPS money order for payment for something I ordered. Mailed in a large business envelope from the post office lobby right after purchase.
Its been about 30 days and its lost or stolen as the receiving person never received it. To file an inquiry it costs $17.95 to the post office to look into its whereabouts. It may take another 30 or 60 days to get a refund , maybe. USPS could toss mail in the trash but they still collect postage and costs with buying a money order , along with $17.95 inquiry.
There is no customer service and USPS does not give a crap. Be warned if you purchase a USPS money order , if its lost its going to cost you more money and time.

LOL. You must be Natalie because I didn't include "that part" in my review. I will be contacting Kelly again to make an additional complaint.

You can’t even keep your story straight. That’s two loser moves.
