I shipped two packages to France, both insured and both express mail. It was clothing for my niece birthday.

They lost the packages in San Francisco. Both of them. I filled a claim and got denied: - i paid for insurance - i showed proof of value - the package was lost in san francisco (tracking number). For the second package I am not allowed to submit a claim online and it is 20 days late?!!!!

So it is very frustrating, but most importantly sad when you spend days to search for the right gift that you pay premium to get there on time.

On top of that I lost about 70$ for both shipping cost and 280$ per package. Total I lost about 700$ and I had done everything: - insured - paid premium shipping - kept receipts Not only I feel the USPS should have sent me a letter of apology for loosing my packages, but just a DENIED statement near my claim when I searched for it (not having received any news, no letter and no emailll)
